L.P. Green, II is the CEO & Founder of Savoy Venture Partners, an angel investors fund focused on early stage investing for startups in the areas of media, mobile, e-commerce, enterprise, entertainment and life sciences. In 2007, Mr. Green led all aspects of a successful acquisition of Savoy magazine & media properties. He was responsible for developing and executing the re-launch of Savoy’s multimedia investment strategies post-acquisition, and turned Savoy, then a bankrupted brand, into the leading black professional media platform in the country.

Mr. Green serves as a Life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the President’s Society of The Aspen Institute, Corporate Council on Africa and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina – Aiken, a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, a Master of Science in Public Administration from Harvard University – Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
